  • Folic Acid: Folic acid plays a vital role in the growth and reproduction of all body cells. Best known for its benefits to women who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, but also helps lower the risk of anaemia. There's also some evidence that increased intake of folic acid may reduce the risk of a heart attack.
  • Extra calcium: Calcium is vital in developing and maintaining healthy bones and teeth. That’s why Irwin's added extra calcium and folic acid to all their white pan breads, enough for two slices to give a person half their recommended daily allowance of these ingredients.
  • Low-GI : Low-GI stands for Glycaemic Index which is a way of ranking foods according to how quickly they are digested. This means it sustains steady blood sugar levels to help you feel fuller for longer.
  • Low-Salt : our products are reduced in salt to offer our customers a healthier answer to their obesity problems. And they still taste great.
  • Hi Fibre: some of our rolls and pan breads contain 50% more fibre than standard white breasd and rolls.
  • Yeast free: all our Rankin Selection range of bread is yeast free.
