Irwin’s is a family company, based in Portadown since 1912 and through our day to day business we try to incorporate the needs of our local community.
Here are some of the ways in which we strive to help our wider community.
In the Bakery:
- We recycle all possible office materials (paper, plastic, printer cartridges), and reuse printed paper.
- Waste reduction programme
- Renewable energy; we recently switched to gas burning ovens reducing energy consumption by 15% each year
In the Community:
Our Charity is Macmillan Cancer Support, with whom we have had an 8 year long relationship.
Sports sponsorship:
Bakery tours for school children of all ages are carried out right-throughout the school year.
Irwin’s supports many local charities and events through staff fundraising, product donation and corporate gifts.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility policy is something we are developing and integrating with more areas of our business
